The Astro Hackathon Samsun Stage Was Held on Our Campus
Hosted and organized in collaboration with our university, under the leadership of the Turkish Space Agency and in partnership with the All Inventors Invention, Innovation, and Research Association and Valentura, the Astro Hackathon concluded with high participation and enthusiasm.
At the conclusion of the event, organized by the IKARUS R&D team operating within our university, six teams composed of our university students qualified to participate in the national evaluation with the projects they developed. The rankings achieved by the teams composed of our university students are as follows:
- Spectraloop Team
- Evoart Team
- Orbit X Team
- Nebula Team
- Göktigin Team
- Storm Hunters Team
The Samsun leg of the national innovation marathon, implemented under the National Space Program coordinated by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, was held at the Asmaaltı Student Center on the Ballıca Campus.
In the Samsun leg of the event, which was organized simultaneously in 37 cities across Turkey, 52 teams comprising 273 participants spent two days developing their projects. Over the course of approximately 48 hours, participants generated innovative solutions to problem statements in the fields of space, software, engineering, and artificial intelligence, while having the opportunity to refine their projects under the guidance of mentors.
